Quick Edit (Beta) August 28, 2024 18:35 Updated Use Quick Edit for fast changes to characters, text-to-speech (TTS), and scene text. Opening Quick Edit Updating Script Replacing Characters Updating Text-to-Speech Settings Other Considerations Opening Quick Edit From the video listing page, click the Preview button: Select Open Quick Edit from the Edit Video drop down menu: The Quick Edit prompt will appear on the right side of the video: To close Quick Edit, select the 'X' button: Updating Script Double click any of the characters or scene text to edit: Click anywhere to update the text, the video will update automatically. Users can also edit text specific to a character by clicking the character avatar thumbnail. When editing newly created videos in Quick Edit, updating the script results in the timing of the video being adjusted to fit the new changes. Once the edits have been made, click SAVE at the bottom of the Quick Edit prompt to save your progress. Note: If the video has been opened in the Vyond Studio, making later updates to the script in Quick Edit will NOT result in the script timing being adjusted. Replacing Characters Click the character avatar thumbnail: Click the Replace Character button: A character selection panel opens: Browse and choose a character: Click a character thumbnail to replace the character across the scenes: Note: It may take a while if the character appears across many scenes. Updating Text-to-Speech Settings Click the character avatar thumbnail: Open Text-to-Speech Settings: Select the Language, Accent, and Voice of your choice: (Optional) Select the Tone, Speed, and Pitch: Click Save Settings to update all the character's scripts across the scenes: Note: It may take a while if there are many text-to-speech scripts across the scenes. Other Considerations Limitations Quick Edit is not supported for chart labels at this time. Unable to bulk edit emotional settings if the character has mixed voices. There is no autosave in Quick Edit. Characters with Esperanto voice are not supported at this time. Known Issues Voice setting options are sometimes hidden (only "Default" is available). Users can preview the video or reselect the language to reload the options. The unassigned text-to-speech audio’s voice style shows an empty dropdown menu.
