Making Your First Video - Step by Step Walkthrough

On Vyond, "making videos" is making simple changes to a template. Follow the short steps below to finish your video.

Tip 1. Give characters actions

1. Go to any scene with characters.
2. Select the character.
3. Click on the “Action” toolbox on the top right.
4. Click to apply a new action.

Tip 2. Get a character talking

1. Go to any scene with characters.
2. Select the character.
3. Click on “Dialog”, “Add Dialog”, and select “Text-to-Speech” on the top right.
4. Type in a sentence of dialog text.
5. Click the “Generate” button.

Tip 3. Replace a prop

1. Go to any scene with props, like a box.
2. Select the prop. 
3. Click on “Replace” toolbox on the top right. The prop library will open on the left.
4. Search for anything you like in the prop library.
5. Select on a prop in the library to replace the prop.

Complete your video

• Drag the box to the left to see how easy it is. Drag the corner out to make it bigger.
• Click “Preview from Start” to see how the video plays.
• Click “Save” to keep your work. 
• Your video is saved on the Your Videos page which we’ll visit later.

Make another video

• Visit the Template Library to find your next video template. 
• Browse by job role, category or search for your industry.
