Grid Lines and Safe Areas

Grid lines and safe areas can allow for better alignment when placing assets on the stage. The option to add grid lines or safe areas will appear at the bottom right of the stage.

Safe Area

Areas of a video that can be seen on different size screens to ensure that certain things like titles and actions don't get cut off when viewing the video.

  • Action Safe: Action safe is a designated area inside a video frame in which you could place important elements (e.g. characters, props, actions) without worrying about them getting cut off by the edges of the screen.
  • Title Safe: Title safe is a designated area inside a video frame in which you could place text without worrying about the words getting cut off by the edges of the screen.

The standard “Rule of thirds” guidelines allow easier alignment on stage.
