Flip Action is intended to swap the orientation of an action that is applied to a character, but without changing aspects of the character's appearance. In the example below, the character action is flipped. Notice how the arm being used changes sides, but the shirt pocket remains on the same side. Mirror is meant to invert the image of a selected asset. When a character is mirrored, their action may also flip, but the orientation of their appearance will as well. Notice how the character's arm changes sides, yet the pocket and hair part also change sides. Using Flip Action is suggested with characters, unless mirroring their clothing and hairstyle is the intended result. (Mirrored prop example) How to mirror props Right-click a prop on the stage and select Mirror from the contextual menu. Alternatively, select a prop on the stage, open the More tab, and click on the Mirror icon. The prop is now mirrored. How to flip character actions Right-click a character on the stage and select Flip Action from the contextual menu. Alternatively, select a character on the stage, open the More tab, and click on the Flip Action icon. The character's action is now flipped.
