Known Issue - MP3 Uploads Under 15MB Fail to Upload May 11, 2026 08:01 Updated Date: May 8th, 2026Description: Some users may encounter an issue when uploading MP3 audio files that are under the 15MB upload limit. Files in the 13MB to 15MB range may incorrectly fail with the error message: “File size exceeds 15MB limit.” This appears to have started after a recent update. Reports indicate the issue specifically affects certain larger MP3 files that are still below the documented upload threshold.Workaround: At this time, users may need to reduce the file size further by compressing the MP3 or splitting the audio into smaller segments before uploading.Scope: MP3 audio uploads, particularly files between 13 MB and 15MB.STATUS UPDATE May 11, 2026: After investigating, engineering has confirmed this issue is related to a recent change that reduced the file size limit from 15 MB to 10 MB. A fix is planned for the upcoming release on May 27th.May 8, 2026: Our product and engineering teams are currently investigating why MP3 files under the supported 15MB limit are being rejected.
