How do I add or change a background? December 02, 2024 22:00 Updated When creating a scene from scratch, backgrounds are a great starting point. Choose an image from our library, or import your own image, to use as a foundation for your scenes. Selecting a Background Using Imported Images Photo to Background Selecting a Background 1) Select Add Blank Scene. 2) Open the Background panel, then open the Background library. 3) The library will be organized by animation style, and Locations or Patterns categories. Using Imported Images 1) Click the Add Scene button in the timeline. 2) Select Add Blank Scene. 3) Open the Uploads panel. Then, click on the Upload File button located under the search bar. 4) Hover over the desired image and select the three dots and select the option to Use as Background. For further adjustments to the background positioning, go to Background settings. 5) To use this background again in the same project, select Add Scene from step 1 and select Continue Last Scene, or use the copy and paste function after selecting the scene. Optional: Right-click on the scene and select Add to My Library to use this background in future projects. Learn more about the My Library tab here. When you have your background positioned, right-click the image and lock it to the stage. This will prevent the background from being moved out of place, or resized, when you continue working on the scene.
