Screen and Webcam Recording

Enhance your videos with screen and webcam recording! Record up to 4 minutes of footage. Usage of the Screen and Webcam recording feature page requires a Vyond account and saving the recordings requires a paid subscription. The following article will cover:

To access screen and webcam recording within Vyond, open the Create button on the homepage and select Record screen. 

To access the feature directly, from anywhere, sign into your Vyond account and follow the link below:

Toolbar Controls

• Timer 
• Pause/Resume
• Delete Recording (trash icon)
• Stop/Record

Timer - The time starts once the record button is clicked. Click Pause/Resume to pause or resume the recording. 

Pause/Resume - Click Pause to pause the recording. Click Resume to resume the recording. 

Delete Recording - Click the trash icon to delete a recording. A pop up will appear asking to confirm the deletion. The deletion is permanent. 

Stop/Record- Click record or stop to control the start and end of the recording. 

Screen + Camera/ Screen Only

1. Select Screen + Camera or Screen Only and click the Start Recording button.

Native browser permissions for the microphone and camera may need to be allowed prior to recording. 

2. A pop up window will appear asking you to select the tab, window, or screen you want to use for the screen recording. Once selected, click Share.

The page may navigate to the window, tab or screen being shared, navigate back to the Screen Recorder page for next steps. 

3. Click the Record button to start the recording. You will also see a round window on the screen where your webcam will be captured. Ensure you webcam cover is open.

A countdown will appear right before the recording starts. 

You can select cancel to go back to the previous page.

4. Use the buttons in the toolbar to pause/resume or stop the recording. 

5. When you stop the recording, the recording will take a few moments to process. Once the recording has processed, it will appear as a video on your video listing page as well as in the uploads library. 

Camera Only

1. Select Camera Only and click the Start Recording button. 

2. Click Record to start your recording. A countdown will appear before the recording stars.

3. Use the buttons in the toolbar to pause/resume or stop the recording. 

4. When you stop the recording, the recording will take a few moments to process. Once the recording has processed, it will appear as a video on your video listing page as well as in the uploads library.
