AI Avatars

Vyond offers a unique selection of AI avatars to enhance your video. Choose from a wide selection of AI avatars ready to communicate your message and ensure reliability in every video. Use them alone or combine them with templates of different styles. AI avatars can be paired with any of our text-to-speech voices and 70+ languages offered. 

AI avatars are offered across all plans. This is not a stand alone product, it's an add-on to an existing subscription. For steps on how to purchase, check out the link here.

Access

To access AI avatars, use the following link: https://app.vyond.com/features/ai-avatar 

Or select AI avatars from the Create dropdown menu:

Steps

1. Select your avatar.

2. Enter your script in the text box. Use the text-to-speech settings gear icon to pick the voice and adjust the voice style.

3. Preview your text-to-speech audio using the play button.

4. Once you preview the text-to-speech audio, click the orange Generate button to generate your AI avatar video.

Please note, once you generate your AI avatar, minutes used will not be retrievable if you go back to edit any text-to-speech. Minutes are allocated on a monthly basis and reset at the first of every month at 0:00 UTC. 

5. Once an AI avatar video has been generated, it will appear as a recent video in your library. Open the video in the Studio to make further edits.

The video is also saved in the Uploads library.

Changing the Background

1. Go to the AI Avatar page and click on Background Settings.

2. Select a background or upload your own.

The option for a transparent background is also available.

3. The selected background will appear in the preview. 

Minutes

  • The videos will not generate if there are less minutes than the duration of the audio. Please shorten the audio to match the number of minutes left for the use of the AI avatar. 
  • Regenerating an AI avatar video will result in usage of minutes. 
  • Avatar minutes are based on the output of the video. Minutes are rounded to the nearest whole minute. 
  • When minutes are purchased for a subscription with multiple seats, the minutes are shared across all seats. For example, if a subscription has 10 seats and 40 minutes are purchased, all 10 seats must share the 40 minutes of AI avatar use. 
  • AI Avatar minutes are shown to the left of the Generate button.

  • Minutes are allocated on a monthly basis and reset at the first of every month at 0:00 UTC. 

Tips and Other Considerations

  • Users can enter up to 1000 characters in the text box. If you need to use more than 1000 characters, you'll need to create another video, you can then combine the videos in Vyond Studio.
  • Ensure testing your audio first with a character outside of the AI avatar creator to make sure the audio is correct before applying it to the AI avatar. 
  • AI avatar videos may take anywhere from 1-5 minutes to generate, however times may vary.
