Check the following tips and tricks to produce the best results when using Photo to Avatar. This features is for Professional, Enterprise and Agency plans only.


Consent Statement

Users will be asked to check and accept Vyond's condition's before uploading any photos.

By checking the box, you represent and confirm that you have the right to use and upload the photo, and that you authorize Vyond to generate video content based on the uploaded photo. You further understand and agree that any video generated from the uploaded photo may be shared and may also be used as source material to create other videos.

Uploading a Photo

The following tips can help create a more authentic and engaging photo avatar.

Photo size and format requirements

  • Vyond accepts images in JPG or PNG format, with a file size of 15MB or smaller.

Photo Guidelines: 

DO's:

  • Only have one person per image
  • The person in the image should be in the front or at a 45 degree angle / side view of that person
  • Experiment with close-up or full-body shots
  • Try out different expressions
  • Use high-resolution images with height over 720px
  • Use 16:9 ratio for optimal results
  • Choose a background that contrasts clearly with the person.

DONT'S:

  • Don’t use  photos that have more than one individual in it 
  • Don’t upload low-resolution, blurry, or heavily edited photos
  • Don’t use  underage subjects, famous faces, cartoons, or animals as you will not be able to generate video footage
  • Don’t use a full 90-degree angle/ side view of a person

Processing the Photo

Once your consent statement is verified and your photo has been uploaded, your avatar creation will be auto-added to the library. You can then select it, add in your script, choose  TTS, and generate a video that makes the person in the photo appear to speak.
