Photo to Avatar

Users can now upload photo's to create an avatar. Check out the steps below. This features is only available to Professional, Enterprise, and Agency users. 

Steps

From the AI avatar page, select Create your own avatar. 

Next, select the option to Upload your Photo.

Be sure to read through the Do's and Don'ts before proceeding to upload a photo. Photo's must be human in order to generate an avatar from it. 

Upload the photo. 

Once the photo has been uploaded, please read and accept Vyond's conditions to proceed. 

The avatar will then generate and appear on the avatar page. Please note, creation times may exceed 10 or more minutes. 

 

How to create different expressions, poses, or outfits
 

Photo Avatars are created based on the photo you upload. If you want to use the same person with different expressions, poses, or outfits, you can create multiple versions of the avatar using different photos.

For example, you can upload:
  • A smiling photo for a happy or friendly expression
  • A more serious or concerned expression for a different mood
  • Photos with different poses or body positioning
  • Photos featuring different outfits or appearances
When creating your video, choose the version that best matches the emotion or look you want for that part of the video.

For more expressive results, you can also pair your Photo Avatar with a Gemini voice and use the instruction box to describe the desired tone or emotion. This can help the voice delivery better match the expression shown in the avatar.

 

Other Tips and Considerations

  • Credit are not used to create the initial avatar, however credits will be used when the generated avatar is used for video generation. Credit usage information can be found here.
  • Please use photos that have clear human facial features.
  • Vyond accepts JPG or PNG formats that are 15MB or smaller. 
  • This features is only available for Professional, Enterprise, and Agency users.
