About the AI Credit System

Certain AI-powered features in Vyond use credits when they are generated or processed. Credits are included with your subscription plan and can be used across supported AI features such as Text to Speech, AI Avatars, Text to Image, Translation, and Vyond Go.

Different AI features and models require different levels of compute and processing power, so credit usage may vary depending on the feature or provider selected.

Credits reset monthly and can be used across the AI features most valuable to your team. Your number of credits is dependent on your plan type.

Updates to AI Credit Costs

Effective May 27, 2026. We've updated credit costs across several AI features to better align with the advanced models powering them. 

As AI capabilities continue to evolve, different AI providers and model tiers carry different levels of computer and processing power. These updates help us continue offering access to high-quality AI features while keeping our plan pricing stable.

What this means for you

Your monthly credit allocation is not changing, but some AI features may now use credits at different rates depending on the provider or model selected. Most customers will continue using AI features as they do today, and not see any impact to monthly limits.

Credits are deducted from the monthly allocation and will reset at the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC+0. 

Credit Cost by Feature

*Text to Image Update May 6, 2026 - The credit cost for Text to Image has been updated based on the image model being used. For the model Flux 2 Klein 9b, 160 credits will be used per 1 image generation. For the model Nano Banana 2, 800 credits will be used per 1 image generation. 

*Text to Avatar Update May 6, 2026 - The credit cost for Text to Avatar has been updated based on the image model being used. For the model Flux 2 Klein 9b, 160 credits will be used per 1 image generation. For the model Nano Banana 2, 800 credits will be used per 1 image generation. 

Credit Balance

For Starter, Professional, and Agency, to view the credit balance, select the profile icon and the credit balance will appear. 

Click the credit balance to open the settings where the credit balance will show along with the total number of credits for the plan type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some AI features cost more credits?

Different AI models require different levels of processing resources. More advanced models typically consume more credits.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Credits reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Once your credit allocation has been exhausted, AI-powered features may become unavailable until your credits reset.

Can AI features be disabled?

Yes. Please contact your account management team or support@vyond.com to disable AI-powered features.

Which AI models are the most credit efficient?

Lower-cost models generally consume fewer credits than premium models with more advanced capabilities.
