As part of a broader upgrade to our text to speech offering, newer integrations — including Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, and Azure Omni voices — will deliver improved performance, quality, and significantly broader language support.What this means for you: Existing videos will not be deleted Videos can still be downloaded Users will only need to replace voices if editing affected scenes after July 8 New projects will no longer support WellSaid voices Replacement Voices Google Gemini (Enterprise, Agency) Google Chirp 3 (Enterprise, Agency) ElevenLabs stock voices — also available in Articulate for cross-platform consistency (Enterprise, Agency) Azure Omni voices (natural, all-purpose voice set) (all plans) Standard TTS voices across 90+ languages (all plans) How to replace a WellSaid Labs voice? Replace a single voice:To replace a single voice, use the following steps below: 1. Select the voice track in the timeline and right click and choose Settings.2. Choose a new voice from the menu based on which voices are available to you. 3. Regenerate the track to update the voice.Bulk replace all WellSaid voices:Users can use Quick Edit to replace any WellSaid Lab voice using Quick Edit before July 8, 2026. We strongly recommend that users replace any WellSaid Labs voice prior to July 8, 2026. Check out the resources below for editing with Quick Edit: Quick Edit (Find the steps under Updating Text-to-Speech Settings) In addition, users can also bulk replace the voice by following the steps below: 1. Select the voice track in the timeline, right click and select the option for Settings.2. Choose the new voice from one of our current providers. 3. Then toggle the option Apply to all audio selected. What happens after July 8, 2026?Existing videos will remain fully accessible in users’ accounts and can be downloaded as usual. However, if a user edits a section that uses a retired WellSaid voice after July 8, they will be prompted to select a replacement voice before saving that section.
