Organizing assets with Vyond Collections! (Beta) July 24, 2024 19:04 Updated Vyond users can organize assets into Collections. Collections are a great way to manage assets for specific projects. Collections can be named, deleted, and renamed. Assets within a collection can also be deleted. Collections are available for Professional, Agency and Enterprise users. Assets that can be added to a collection include: Uploaded assets Vyond assets Scenes and templates Assets from the content panel, from the stage and timeline Color Palettes (Agency and Enterprise users only) Collections are not yet searchable in global search. Create a Collection Adding an Asset from the Content Panel Adding an Asset from the Stage Removing an Asset from a Collection Renaming and Deleting a Collection Adding Shutterstock Assets Adding a Color Palette Create a Collection Navigate to your Library in the content panel and select Collections: Next, click on the button Create Collection: Type a name for your collection and then click Create: Your collection will appear in the content panel: Once a collection is created, the Create Collection button will no longer be available. Moving forward, creating a new collection is done via the props more options menu: Adding an Asset from the Content Panel Right click on the asset you would like to add to a collection from the content panel, select Add to Collection and choose from your created collections or create a new collection to add the asset to: Adding an Asset from the Stage Right click on the asset from the stage, select Add to Collection and choose from your created collections or create a new collection to add the asset to: Removing an Asset from a Collection Go to the collection, right click on the asset and select Remove from this Collection: Renaming and Deleting a Collection Go to Collections from the content panel, select the 3 elipses to the right of the collection name and either select Rename or Delete: To rename, select Rename and a prompt will appear where you can rename the collection and save the changes: To delete, select Delete and a prompt will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the collection. Click Delete to proceed: Adding Shutterstock Assets Assets from Shutterstock can now be added to Collections. Click the three dots on any Shutterstock asset, then select Add to Collection. From there, you can decide which Collection to add your asset to. Adding a Color Palette Open the color tab in the asset toolbar. Navigate to the All Palettes tab. Open the More menu for the palette (three-dot menu to the right of the palette name). Hover over Add to Collections and select a collection to add the palette to, or create a new collection. Adding a palette to a Collection enables the Color Shuffler within the Collection. Learn more about the Color Shuffler here.
