Edit Character Colors in Vyond Studio

Users can now edit the colors of a character directly in the Vyond Studio. This feature is available for Business Friendly and Contemporary characters only. Check out the steps below to see how you can change the color of your character. 

How to Change the Color of a Character in the Studio:

1. Select a character and add them to your scene.

3. The options to change the color for character head, top, bottom and accessories will appear.

4. Once the new colors have been selected for the character, the character will then appear in the 'In this Video' section of the content panel. 

5. To move the character to your library, right click or select the three dots and choose the option 'Add to My Library.'

Other Tips and Considerations:

  • Only 1 character can have their color changed at a time. If multiple characters are selected, then the Character Color icon will be disabled. 
  • This feature is not available for Whiteboard Animation characters. 
  • Color changes can be undone/redone. 
  • Color changes will be reflected on the character selected in the scene. 
  • Characters can be renamed, given an expression or action, size, position, rotation, flip/mirror and opacity can be adjusted as normal. 
  • If editing a video in Quick Edit after a character's colors have been changed, please note that the original colors will reflect, not the new colors. 
  • Character color changes will not show in the Text-To-Speech settings
  • Character color changes will not show in the In This Video section.
